Governing Excellence Since 1950.

The Ches-Mont League has served as a bedrock of high school athletics for over seventy-five years. Our conference fosters a healthy atmosphere where student-athletes compete at the highest level, establishing records and academic legacies that define the standard of excellence in Chester County, the state of Pennsylvania, and even Nationally.

2020s

The Ches-Mont features 13 schools who's athletic success has led to many State titles and All-American Athletes.

2000s & 2010s

The league welcomes in West Chester Rustin, Great Valley, Kennett, Oxford, and Unionville. The League creates the National and American sub divisions.

1980s & 1990s

Population fluctuation, new leagues, and consolidation lead the Ches-Mont to shrink to 4 teams. Bishop Shanahan joins & Downingtown splits to two schools to bring the total back to 6.

1960s & 1970s

The Conference grew up to 12 teams even with the loss of Conestoga to the Suburban League.

1950

Conference is formed with 8 member schools, 3 of which are still members today: Coatesville, West Chester, & Downingtown.
